Featuring a re-sharpenable blade made of high quality Solingen steel, accompanied by a shatterproof blade guard with an automated function, the Ideal 1158 is highly reliable. Similarly, the alternative manual hand lever press ensures optimum safety and ease of operation.

Furthermore, the stable blade angle made of cast aluminium, combined with the double-mounted blade axis together, can guarantee precise angle-accurate cuts. To further facilitate this, DIN formats and angle markings are precisely printed on the cutting table; facilitating efficient work. It also has a solid cast aluminium blade mounting bracket with double pivot bearings for the blade axel and a solid all-metal construction.

The Ideal 1158 also provides a solid manual clamp for variable pressure, along with a precision side lay with a measuring scale and an adjustable back gauge, perfect for the accurate trimming of A3 sized and oversized sheets.
