The Rigo Lamibind Long is a compact, easy-to-use open tank EVA Perfect Binding System. The Long variants offer wider binding formats up to 420mm. Combined with the latest Planamelt R digital adhesive it is the perfect binder of choice for today’s digital printer. Designed to help commercial and digital printers to bring in-house, highly profitable, short-run, on-demand binding. A key feature of the Rigo Lamibind is flexibility. Capable of producing 4 different finishes on one machine including softback binding, tape binding, padding, & direct hard cover binding. Further advantages are the Lamibind’s ability to handle Thread Sewn book blocks as well as Single Sheet book block formats.
Ridiculously simple to use thanks to an intuitive OMRON touch screen controller. Virtually all functions including the glue length, clamping time, glue temperature & book position are all controlled from the OMRON touch screen. The adjustable glue length and book block positioning give the operator greater control and prove to be extremely useful functions. Not only preventing glue spine overrun but also allowing different sizes of book block and cover to be bound with ease.
Although entry level into the Rigo range of perfect binders, the Lamibind is still a powerful binder. Capable of up to 290 cycles per hour. A fixed 0.3mm tiltable milling & notching blade ensures perfect spine preparation. Separate spine and side glue tanks allow for different spine & side glues to be used for more complex applications. The adjustable ribbed side glue application rollers apply a perfect 7mm bead of glue along the spine edge, perfect for spine/hinge cover application. Whilst the powerful nipping station merges the spine with the cover to form a perfect finish.
Perfectly suited to short run on-demand applications of A3, A4 or A5 finished books in soft or hard back formats.

Delivery
- A Pre-Delivery Inspection is conducted on every machine prior to shipment
- A site survey will be conducted prior to shipping to ensure the delivery goes smoothly
- Specialist instrument logistics companies with freight insurance are used for delivery
- All deliveries are completed with Tail-Lift equipped vehicles & a minimum two-person team
- Customers are offered suitable timed delivery slots with a 2 Hour delivery window
Installation
- Our Installation Team will arrive at an agreed time to complete the installation (Normally on the same day as the delivery unless otherwise specified)
- The installation team will complete a thorough check of all processes and operations of the machine against the PDI checklist
- If the machine has been split into smaller components for delivery, the installation team will re-build the machine onsite
- Standard installation is ground floor with direct access, splitting the machine and re-building will not incur extra charges
- Installations required on upper floors will require lift access or extra charges will be incurred. All charges will be made clear and agreed upon before the installation date.
Training
- Training will be conducted by our trained and certified Specialist Training Team
- Training includes Best Working Practices for Safe Operation, General Operation, Binding Styles & Glue Up Keep
- All trained operatives will be issued with an official training certificate from our Certified Trainers (Certificates are created and posted within 7-10 days of training completion)
- Training is completed in small groups of up to three people maximum
- Training is normally completed on the same day as the installation
12 Month Manufacturer Warranty
- Manufacturer Warranty on all parts from the date of installation
- All Manufacturer warranties do not include labour, travel or identifying of parts (See Service Section)
