The Ideal 2445 Small Office Shredders are perfect for use by small office groups, for shredding paper (including staples) as well as credit cards. Incorporating a handy 35 Litre waste bin capacity and superb shredding capability of up to 21 x 70gsm sheets per pass***. Available in 5 different shred sizes & security levels:
- (P2) 4mm Strip Cut
- (P4) 4 x 40mm Cross Cut
- (P5) 2 x 15mm Cross Cut
- (P6) 0.8 x 12mm Micro Cut
- (P7) 0.8 x 5mm Super Micro Cut – Highly confidential waste
The Ideal 2445 features a photo-cell controlled automatic start and stop function, swivel castors for increased mobility as well as a fully enclosed, dust proof gear box housing for trouble free operation. A high quality wooden cabinet stores the shredded waste. A magnetic proximity switch secures the cabinet door. Smart Shred Technology controls the shredder capacity. Simple colour guides and smiley faces advise the operator of the shredders current condition.
The Ideal SPS (Safety Protection System) incorporates plenty of safety functions. An electronically controlled safety flap prevents unwanted items such as ties, lanyards or long hair from entering the shredder. New easy switch controls guide the operator via colour signals and illuminated symbols. Automatic reverse and power cut off protect the motor and gearbox whilst also preventing paper jams. Optical waste full sensors and electronic door protection ensure safe operation with double motor protection enhancing this with overheat protection.
The Ideal range have all been awarded the ‘Blue Angel’ for their high energy efficiency. The Zero Energy Consumption function in these models means that the machines are completely automatically switched off and thus zero energy consumption after 15 minutes of no use.
Available with Ideal’s Automatic Oiling System. Electronic oil injection lubricates the cutting shafts when shredding and guarantees constantly high shredding performance.
