The Rigo Superbind Quattro EVA is a quad clamp perfect binder offering high-quality production perfect binding at speeds up to 1,000 books per hour. Designed to help commercial printers to bring in-house, highly profitable, higher volumes of on-demand perfect binding. The unique combination of market leading productivity and pricing make the Superbind Quattro a perfect choice for any commercial book binder or printer. Moreover, whilst designed for high volume production the Superbind Quattro is just as at ease with book of one production when needed. Finally, the Superbind’s ability to handle sewn sections, single sheets and folded sections further extend its capabilities in a professional environment.
The Superbind Quattro EVA also features automated setup based on the block thickness. The side gluing rollers, spine/hinge crease tools and cover positioning are all changed automatically. Whilst the milling depth, glue length and book positioning are all changed via the intuitive touchscreen controller. An automatic air-suction cover feeder with integrated crease tools reliably feeds even the toughest of materials to the binding station. A sophisticated delivery unit gently lowers the book on to an integrated stacker to guarantee book integrity throughout the process. True single operator design with job to job changeovers completed in seconds without the need for any tools. Combine with the latest Planamelt R digital adhesive the Superbind Quattro EVA is the perfect binder of choice for today’s commercial printer.
The Superbind Quattro EVA is a powerful binder, capable of up to 1,200 cycles per hour. Larger spine lengths up to 420mm and thicker spines up to 60mm are both standard features. Separate spine and side glue tanks provide greater flexibility in glue application. Whilst a 3 roller application system guarantees the perfect volume of spine glue for optimum performance. The automatically adjustable ribbed side glue application rollers apply a perfect 7mm bead of glue along the spine edge. Whilst the powerful nipping station merges the spine with the cover to form a perfect finish.
Perfectly suited to high volumes of on-demand applications in A3, A4 or A5 finished sizes of softback books.

Delivery
- A Pre-Delivery Inspection is conducted on every machine prior to shipment
- A site survey will be conducted prior to shipping to ensure the delivery goes smoothly
- Specialist instrument logistics companies with freight insurance are used for delivery
- All deliveries are completed with Tail-Lift equipped vehicles & a minimum two-person team
- Customers are offered suitable timed delivery slots with a 2 Hour delivery window
Installation
- Our Installation Team will arrive at an agreed time to complete the installation (Normally on the same day as the delivery unless otherwise specified)
- The installation team will complete a thorough check of all processes and operations of the machine against the PDI checklist
- If the machine has been split into smaller components for delivery, the installation team will re-build the machine onsite
- Standard installation is ground floor with direct access, splitting the machine and re-building will not incur extra charges
- Installations required on upper floors will require lift access or extra charges will be incurred. All charges will be made clear and agreed upon before the installation date.
Training
- Training will be conducted by our trained and certified Specialist Training Team
- Training includes Best Working Practices for Safe Operation, General Operation, Binding Styles & Glue Up Keep
- All trained operatives will be issued with an official training certificate from our Certified Trainers (Certificates are created and posted within 7-10 days of training completion)
- Training is completed in small groups of up to three people maximum
- Training is normally completed on the same day as the installation
12 Month Manufacturer Warranty
- Manufacturer Warranty on all parts from the date of installation
- All Manufacturer warranties do not include labour, travel or identifying of parts (See Service Section)
