The CreaseStream Digital CardFolder is a combination of the CreaseStream Auto-Feed MKII and the new CardFolder system. The Digital CardFolder enables you to create 5 fold types including the most common half, letter or Z folds. The fold is achieved by a combination of manually adjustable fold plates and large diameter rubber rollers. This simple but revolutionary solution allows you to create professionally printed and folded digital media in stocks up to 350gsm.

The key to this system is the creasing quality and the ability to crease in both positive and negative formats in the same pass prior to inline folding. The CreaseStream Auto-feed MKII plays its part by flawlessly processing stocks up to 350gsm without marking the toner. However, its all about the quality of the crease that makes this solution so special. The rotary driven and patented Tri-Creaser Advance ensures the sheets are perfectly creased so the folding becomes a formality.

Aesthetic templates are supplied for all major fold types and sheet sizes. These templates correlate with the colour coded reference points printed onto the folding unit to enable immediate and fault-free machine make ready. From sheet feeding right through to delivery all the settings are worked out for you ensuring accurate fold results every time. Simply follow the steps to get perfect creasing and folding.

Due to the high speed rotary creasing action the CreaseStream Card Folder system offers up to twice the processing speed of other automated creasing systems on the market. Capable of creasing and folding at speeds in excess of 5,000 sheets per hour, regardless of fold type, the Digital CardFolder will streamline your production process.

CreaseStream Auto-feed MKII

The CreaseStream Auto-feed MKII is an automated high speed creasing solution for today’s digital printer. Designed for businesses that produce both short and high-volume production runs. This is the next level of automation, making the Auto Feed MKII one of the easiest creasers to operate. Just set the tools, press the button and you’ll get up to 5,000 sheets of perfectly creased media per hour.

Digital stocks can be prone to marking or scuffing because the creaser uses a vacuum pump during feeding. The Auto-feed MKII eliminates this problem with an innovative gravity flow feeder. This gently kisses the sheets, making only minimum contact and therefore zero opportunity to mark delicate work. The end result, flawlessly creased sheets every time with no damage to the fibres of the media.

Patented Tri-Creaser Advance technology is the only application especially designed to crease both sides of the sheet to enhance crease strength and presentation. Crease ribs gently manipulate and stretches the media to eliminate cracking during the folding stage. Adjustable locking side lays guide the media into the creasing tools. Whilst guide rollers ensure the media remains square during the creasing process where up to 2 creases can be performed simultaneously. Crease tools can be reversed to crease positively into or negatively out of the sheet. This feature is very useful for fold patterns that require a positive and negative crease in the same pass, for instance a Z Fold.

The Auto-feed MKII also has the ability to produce cylinder quality micro-perforation with optional tooling. Produces fine and flat micro-perforations on materials from 64 to 400gsm. Perforation quality is so high that perforated sheets can be run through a laser or digital printer, trouble free!

Delivery

  • A Pre-Delivery Inspection is conducted on every machine prior to shipment
  • A site survey will be conducted prior to shipping to ensure the delivery goes smoothly
  • Specialist instrument logistics companies with freight insurance are used for delivery
  • All deliveries are completed with Tail-Lift equipped vehicles & a minimum two-person team
  • Customers are offered suitable timed delivery slots with a 2 Hour delivery window

Installation

  • Our Installation Team will arrive at an agreed time to complete the installation (Normally on the same day as the delivery unless otherwise specified)
  • The installation team will complete a thorough check of all processes and operations of the machine against the PDI checklist
  • If the machine has been split into smaller components for delivery, the installation team will re-build the machine onsite
  • Standard installation is ground floor with direct access, splitting the machine and re-building will not incur extra charges
  • Installations required on upper floors will require lift access or extra charges will be incurred. All charges will be made clear and agreed upon before the installation date.

Training

  • Training will be conducted by our trained and certified Specialist Training Team
  • Training includes Best Working Practices for Safe Operation, General Operation, Crease Tool Changeover, Perforation Setup
  • All trained operatives will be issued with an official training certificate from our Certified Trainers (Certificates are created and posted within 7-10 days of training completion)
  • Training is completed in small groups of up to three people maximum
  • Training is normally completed on the same day as the installation

12 Month Manufacturer Warranty

  • Manufacturer Warranty on all parts from the date of installation
  • All Manufacturer warranties do not include labour, travel or identifying of parts (See Service Section)
