The Duplo DC446. A fully automated, highly productive, programmable creasing solution aimed at the short-run digital colour print market. Equipped with Duplo’s superior engineering, the DC446 provides a creasing solution for a wide range of applications. Perforating options can extend the capabilities further, offering high-speed perforating for coupon-type applications. Likewise, optional slitting blades can provide a simple solution for side trimming oversized sheets to save one part of the guillotine process.

An automatic suction feeder with switchable belts ensures the consistent delivery of sheets with no risk of marking. In the case of digital stocks with a high level of static, an optional Air Knife can further assist with sheet separation and feeding. An optional ultrasonic double-feed detector, which measures the air gap in each sheet, further secures the production process. Forward and reverse jogger functions make retrieval of misfeeds or jams easy.

Place up to 20 creases along the sheet with an extremely high level of consistent accuracy during any production run. Incremental adjustments of 0.1mm for each crease and an overall tolerance of +/-0.3mm guarantees accuracy. Furthermore, the creasing tool can be automatically adjusted up or down to accommodate different stock thicknesses. The 100mm feed pile height is complimentary to the rated speed and minimises reload times. The combination of this capacity along with top feeding design, means the DC446 offers exceptional productivity and allows the operator to perform other tasks.
