Used/Pre-Owned Folding Machines

We have available a Used Morgana Docufold MK2 Folding Machine. The Docufold comes complete with the Perforation Unit and flat delivery table for when perforating only. The machine is in excellent overall condition and has been refurbished by our own engineers. We have fitted new exit tyres on the perforation unit, new feed belt and a new motor on the delivery unit. Any inspection welcome.

Key to the Morgana Docufold design criteria was a machine with a high degree of automation. Operation is therefore simplicity itself. The sheet length is automatically registered using the feed table back stop, the operator simply selects the fold type on the LCD display and the Docufold automatically adjusts the Fold Plates and Delivery Roller electronically.

The fold rollers will also compensate for most types of fold or paper weight without the need for any adjustments, further enhancing the ease of use. Built in anti-static brushes assist with the discharge of statically charged print material, one of the most troublesome problems faced by document finishers today.

To help control paper curl, another potential difficulty, the pressure suction chamber which is built into the feed table, gently pulls down each sheet as it is being fed into the feed rollers.

A larger sheet size of 365mm width and 674mm length makes the Morgana Docufold even more flexible, capable of producing 6pp A4 documents. The machine speed is fully adjustable from 4500 to 27,500 sheets per hour, giving the operator complete control over the production of a wide range of stocks.
