The Grafcut GC-760 Pro XL is a semi-automated case-making system. Developed by Grafcut based on their extensive knowledge of case-making equipment. Primarily the same machine as the Grafcut GC-480 Pro but with a larger gluing and turning in unit. The 760 XL can process cases up to 1,070mm long by 760mm wide which is especially important for rigid box, luxury box production. The 760 Pro XL version has an automated turning-in and pressing module. In addition to an intuitive touch screen control panel and an illuminated table for easier spine alignment.

The GC-760 Pro XL offers impressive performance thanks to the integration of the new semi-automated turning-in and pressing station. As a result of which, productivity has increased significantly with a production speed of up to 140 cases per hour. Ergonomically designed to ensure all necessary controls are within easy reach of the operator, reducing operator fatigue. Bespoke control over the size, thickness and design of your own on-demand bookcase, the possibilities are endless!

Operating the GC-480 Pro

Operating the GC-760 Pro XL could not be simpler, everything is within easy reach of the central operator position. For extra convenience, the operator can position the touch screen to suit. A foot pedal controls the fixed rear guide and automatically activates the vacuum table when pressed to raise the guide stops. An adjustable margin rail, which adjusts for both depth and height, ensures quick and easy setup on a wide variety of media types and sizes. Slide your desired book cover through the pre-heat bar and onto the glue application rollers. Once glued, placed the covers onto the table, press the foot pedal to raise the back stops and start the vacuum. Align with the side lay and push raised rear guide. Lower the adjustable margin rail and place the boards onto the cover. For easy central alignment use the integrated light bar to guide you.

For edge turning, simply release the foot pedal and push the cover into the turning station. Electronically controlled edge turning blades force two sides of the cover over, simultaneously pressing those edges onto the board. Complete the process with a 90 degree rotation. On the 2nd pass you can choose if the cover should be returned to the operator side or ejected onto the rear of the machine. Each case can be produced in under 30 seconds to enable production speeds of up to 140 cases per hour.

The GC-760 Pro XL Case Making solution is infinitely flexible and offers far more than just hard case production. The combination of an integrated professional gluing machine with the vacuum table also allows easy and professional production of a wide range of products including.

  • Menu’s
