This next-generation cutting device uses technology to enhance the user experience. A 390mm touch screen tablet controller guides the operator through the cut sequence. Offering intuitive advice to ensure the most productive cutting sequence is utilised for each job.
The 56 is a fully configured commercial print guillotine for the B3 and digital print market. Electro-mechanical blade drive and hydraulically powered clamp with infinite pressure control. An electronically controlled false clamp plate, ideal for delicate work, optimises the distribution of the clamping force. When required can be removed for smaller work.
Productivity is enhanced through the high speed back gauge which now operates as speeds up to 100mm per second making size changes virtually instant. The Cut Control program allows for instant storage, with full character referencing, of up to 4GB of data which equates to a virtually inexhaustible storage platform for repeat work. The Cut Control function incorporates a video display to demonstrate to the operator the correct cut and work rotation sequence to avoid costly mistakes and also speed up production.
An integrated foot pedal provides pre clamping, while the IR Safety Curtain takes care of the safety functions along side the new Ideal Easy Touch simple and safe two hand cut release with illuminated coloured status display. A dimmable and switchable luminous LED cutting line indicator as well as a dimmable LED illumination of the front table also comes as standard. The newly designed control element for the back gauge and adjustable operational height further enhance the user experience. It adds up to a highly versatile machine able to cope with a wide range of print work and material types.

This package ensures your new purchase is taken care of correctly from day 1 and throughout your ownership of the product, to do this we include:
Delivery
- A Pre-Delivery Inspection is conducted on every machine prior to shipment
- A site survey will be conducted prior to shipping to ensure the delivery goes smoothly
- Specialist instrument logistics companies with freight insurance are used for delivery
- All deliveries are completed with Tail-Lift equipped vehicles & a minimum two-person team
- Customers are offered suitable timed delivery slots with a 2 Hour delivery window
Installation
- Our Installation Team will arrive at an agreed time to complete the installation (Normally on the same day as the delivery unless otherwise specified)
- The installation team will complete a thorough check of all processes and operations of the machine against the PDI checklist
- If the machine has been split into smaller components for delivery, the installation team will re-build the machine onsite
- Standard installation is ground floor with direct access, splitting the machine and re-building will not incur extra charges
- Installations required on upper floors will require lift access or extra charges will be incurred. All charges will be made clear and agreed upon before the installation date.
Training
- Training will be conducted by our trained and certified Guillotine Training Team
- Training includes Best Working Practices for Safe Operation, General Operation, Job Programming as well as Blade Change Procedures if required
- All trained operatives will be issued with an official training certificate from our Certified Trainers (Certificates are created and posted within 7-10 days of training completion)
- Training is completed in small groups of up to three people maximum
- Training is normally completed on the same day as the installation
