The IDEAL 4705 is a powerful manual paper guillotine designed for offices, schools, print rooms and in-house production environments. Built to the same high standards as IDEAL’s powered guillotines, it incorporates the proven IDEAL Safety Cutting System (SCS), including transparent safety hoods over the front and rear tables, a blade lock and a safe blade change system.

Designed for ease of use, the IDEAL 4705 cuts sheet sizes up to SRA3 in both landscape and portrait orientation. Its larger cutting width, shared with the IDEAL 48 series, makes it ideal for trimming full-bleed printed materials accurately, producing clean, professional results.

The precision hand-crank back gauge and optical measuring scale make accurate positioning quick and straightforward. The spindle-drive clamping system, shared with the larger IDEAL 4815, delivers even clamping pressure across the full cutting width with infinitely adjustable clamping pressure to suit different materials.

With a 70mm cutting capacity, the IDEAL 4705 also offers a significant productivity improvement over the smaller IDEAL 4305, making it an excellent choice for higher-volume cutting.
